HouseHeadz presents his own Series of vinyl only releases. The first one is the orange version and includes four distinct tracks. The first track, 'House Is..’ is a classic house track that, with its vocals, aims to pay tribute to one of the best house music artists.

The second track of the release is 'Sunshine,' featuring a softened tech groove with a ‘touch’ of saxophone. The third track is 'Beautiful,' with a slow and sweet rhythm and the release concludes with 'Timbuktu,' characterized by an Afro rhythm.

"Following the latest ‘Hidden Gems’ compilation, Heist Recordings now brings you the best of the remixes in 10 years of the label. For this release, Dam Swindle have curated some of the most ear-catching reinterpretations on the label from 2013 through to 2022, showing just how genre-defining the label has been.

Where Cinthie’s remix of Dam Swindle’s 2018 album cut ‘Call of the wild feat. Jungle by Night’ has the Berlin-based producer in full-on house mode, DJ Boring’s remix from 2019 shows us a more ravey, percussive big room version of Perdu’s anthem ‘Jane’s World’. There’s a massive vocal cut by NDATL label boss Kai Alcé of a Hugo Mari track and a naughty remix by Soulphiction of one of our favourite Alma Negra tracks, ‘Endless Summer’.
The compilation holds more aces by artists such as Prins Thomas, who provides an excellent disco perspective on Dam Swindle’s cut ‘Coffee in the morning’ feat. Jitwam. Elsewhere, Kush Jones, Black Loops, Girls of the Internet and Retromigration all share their top-quality reworks of Heist originals.

Brett Johnson's sound is best known as groovy, bumping house with a hearty dose of techno elements, crafted and mixed in a way that is truly identifiable as his own. Whether DJing or creating music, his wild card is an ability to inject warmth and soul into his electronic sound. The result is an impressive discography filled with unique statements, otherworldly surprises, and undeniable club stompers.

Releasing his first record in 1999 on the now-defunct, Aesoteric Records, Brett has released over 100 records and remixes for some of dance music's best labels. The list includes Classic Music Company, Freerange, Crosstown Rebels,  20/20 Vision, Get Physical, Visionquest, Magnetic, Cynosure, Edible, F-Communications, Seasons; the list goes on and on. Aside from a busy remix schedule, Brett is currently releasing his own music on the labels Classic Music Company, Cynosure Recordings and a select group of labels.

Brett's DJ'ing career has had an amazing trajectory over the past couple of decades. He's traveled the world spreading his musical might to revered nightclubs and festivals like fabric in London,  Panorama Bar in Berlin, Rex Club in Paris, Smart Bar in Chicago, Cocoon and the list goes on. Festivals include Scotland's legendary T In The Park, both the 10 Days Off and Dour festivals in Belgium, Les Rencontres Trans Musicales in France, Solar Festival in the Netherlands, together with tours throughout Asia, Australia and beyond.
