I killed him im the reason he's dead
I nailed him to the cross and put the crown of thorns on his head

He knows I killed his son and he's about to throw me in to a fire to burn me
But before I admit that im guilty Jesus speaks for me
He's guilty but he didnt kill me I took his place

The devils got me believing that gods grace is not enough
I know he's lieing but im to weak to call his bluff
Now I feel as if im dead or that dieing
I dont want god to see me like this so I go into hiding
But even in the darkest place he hears me crying and he finds me
I think he's going to scream why do you defy me
But instead he just reminds me
That he loves me and that his its son in me Is what defines me
Then he helps me stand up and brush off the dust
The devils saying he doesn't have to leave yet but I tell him he must
He tells me he's someone I can trust
I tell him god and he's grace are enough
But he try's again saying you're already saved you can do what you want
Tempting but I remember that I am called to bring up my cross daily so I don't fall into his clever stunt
So I open the door and push him out
Locking the door but knowing he'll come back knocking without a doubt
Its a battle everyday day to let god in
Or to fall into sin
And open the doors to the devels play pin
But no matter what, I decide who's the lord of My life in the end
And me accepting Christ wasn't the end no its just where I begin
So when I fight sin
I fight to win
Although sometimes I lose 
Sin in my life is something I choose
God promised he'll always give me a way out so its a choice
So in my head I just have to make out if its god or the devils voice
But how am I suppose to distinguish gods voice if I never get into his word
And I find it ironic that I get mad when I think god doesnt hear me
But ignore his word that i most definitely heard
He said no idols but I still make them
And to make it even worse I put them in place of him
Acting like the throne of my heart isn't just a throne but a couch
And Jesus doesn't want to be put in a box so I just put him in my tiny pouch
So I only pull him out when its convenient
Dang I think I just realized I have a heart disease that needs to be treated
This heart attack gave me a headache so let me take some Advil
But that Advil is such a sad fill
Just like the idols in my life they never fulfill
Im about to die of a heart attack
But to dumb to realize I need medicine for my cardiac 
Or else I might go into cardiac arrest
This sin in my life is something I need to address
And the devil is somebody I need to arrest
I just need to realize my heart only has one throne
And should only be occupied by the original rolling stone
Hipster because he made the stone roll
And now im faced with the truth and its stone cold
I need to stop playing cards with god and the devil I just need to fold
Because god already won
Jesus finished it when he said it is done
