It’s every bit of what the club would have repped before it closed its doors for good, and it deserves a tip of the hat for keeping Larry Levan’s legacy alive. She does so by offering up a ‘90s-informed house hit flowing with drama-laced diva vocals that preach word to crowd-clamoring samples, funk-filled riffs, and deep-in-the-night basslines.
