Dass wir der Crew von http://soundcloud.com/groups/klangextase besonders freundschaftlich verbunden sind, weiß ja mittlerweile jeder, der unser Projekt etwas aufmerksamer verfolgt. Und so freut es umso mehr, dass unsere aktuelle Podcast-Ausgabe von einem der drei Gründungsmitglieder persönlich kommt. http://soundcloud.com/deesigns legt nicht nur leidenschaftlich gerne seit mittlerweile 9 Jahren auf, er sorgt auch mit seinem Engagement mit dafür, das KX zu dem geworden ist, was es heute darstellt: Eine der größten Plattformen für elektronische Musik, die aus der Szene nicht mehr wegzudenken ist.

Das Besondere an seinen eigenen Sets ist, dass sie stets seine aktuelle Gemütslage widerspiegeln und deshalb so abwechslungsreich sind und sich nie in einer bestimmten Soundregion bewegen. In seiner Laufbahn als DJ hat er schon in Clubs von Wien über Berlin bis Göteborg an den Decks gestanden, wobei er am häufigsten natürlich in seiner Heimat Kassel anzutreffen ist.

Für uns hat er ein sehr ruhiges, entspanntes und deepes Set aufgenommen, welches mit vielen hochkarätigen Namen aufwartet. Das Besondere dabei: Durch ein paar Prisen Druck, die sehr gekonnt verteilt werden, eignet sich der Mix gleichzeitig zum Chillen und zum Tanzen. Genießt also mit uns ein eineinhalb Stunden Musik, die die Freundschaft zwischen „Das hatte es frueher nicht gegeben“ und KLANGEXTASE noch mehr vertiefen!

Für mein treuestes Groupie, wichtigste Kritikerin, motivierteste Tänzerin und beste Unterstützerin - meine einfach wundervollste Schwester!

Ohne sie gäbe es kueksen vielleicht gar nicht. Als ich 17 und partytechnisch jungfräulich war (abgesehen von EDM in schlechten, oberbayerischen Dorfdiskos), packte sie mich kurzerhand ein und lud mich mitten auf der Fusion wieder aus. Was soll ich sagen? Schon der Soundcheck der Triebwerke versetzte mich in Entzücken! Tiefe Bässe aus dicken Anlagen, verspielte Melodien aus allen Himmelsrichtungen und diese magische Stimmung – so ist damals das kueksen geschlüpft.

Für diese Initialzündung und ihre treue Begleitung meines Weges seitdem, möchte ich mich nun einmal gründlichst bedanken! Daher diese Podcastreihe. #sistertapes halt....

Heute mal die wohl langsamste Seite der gedrosselten Musik, um die bösen Geister des zu hohen Momentums unserer Zeit loszuwerden. Ne ordentliche Packung BADASS gibts natürlich trotzdem, nur halt eben alles in etwas gemütlicherer Manie.

For my most loyal groupie, most important critic, most motivated dancer and best supporter - my simply most wonderful sister!

Without her, kueksen might not even exist. When I was 17 and a party virgin (apart from EDM in bad, Upper Bavarian village discos), she unceremoniously packed me in and dropped me off again in the middle of Fusion. What can I say? Already the sound check of the soundsystems put me in delight! Deep basses from thick equipment, playful melodies from all directions and this magical atmosphere - that's how kueksen hatched back then.

For this initial spark and their faithful support of my way since then, I would like to thank now once thoroughly! Hence this podcast series. #sistertapes ....

Today i present the probably slowest side of the pitched music, to get rid of the evil spirits of the increasingly high momentum of our time. A good pack of BADASS is of course still there, just everything in a more comfortable manner.

Live recording of my set as part of the Sokosolirave @ the infamous Fundbureau Hamburg on April 28th.

I played it as the closing set of Bummelbar from 04:00 - 07:00 am and my idea was to "buttonize" the common way of how to build up a set in terms of progression,  velocity and a raising energy level. 
It starts at a personal high for me around 110 bpm, with a constant relief from there to what I refer to as bummelbounce in the low 90s area. 

I liked the approach, had a lot of fun and definitely felt younger in the morning, lol...
