Impressive set🫶 and thx for the spin🙏

Earlier this year Artefakt released a new album via Delsin, a striking collection of pensive electronics and techno which was designed as much to humble the independent listener as it was to intrigue on the dancefloor.

The Berlin based pair have become well known and acclaimed for their unique take on techno, often channeling deep ethereal soundscapes and melody atop rugged drums and percussion.

Over the years they have released material via the likes of Sungate, Konstrukt and Semantica Records. It is however Delsin where they appear to have made themselves most at home, releasing material which sits between worlds and defies the notion that techno might need to be rigid 4/4 focussed club music. 

We've featuured the pair several times previously. However, this is the first time that they have recorded a mix for the website, a special occassion given the scarcity of these sets.

Here's a live recording, with audience, of my full Tresor set! Bit rough round the edges in places, as you'd get with a live recording, but bloody hell was that ever a good time! Contains a healthy dose of my own and other Random Island tracks, including quite a few from future releases... and even a track I finished at Andy/Diagenetic Origin's apartment the night before.

Our first podcast of the year is compiled by a young DJ / Producer hailing from Patagonia, Argentina, currently based in Buenos Aires. Whose productions are characterised by reverberating pads, enveloping and minimal textures, tribal rhythms and psychedelic synths.
He started to develop his producer side in 2018, after years of DJing in his home town scene. You can find his releases on imprints like Danza Nativa, Oslated, From a lost place, Ritualism and many more. Please welcome @vanoni

Maemm construit ses sets en naviguant à travers différentes atmosphères. Influencée par un style de techno hypnotique aux allures psychédéliques, elle puise également son inspiration du côté de l’ambient et d’autres genres plus expérimentaux. 
Sa passion pour la recherche et la découverte de nouvelles sonorités lui permet d’enrichir son univers musical et d’être en constante évolution. 

Co-fondatrice du collectif La Taquinerie, elle est également résidente au sein du club La Gare, Le Gore les jeudis.

code.response is a developer based in Greece, deeply immersed in electronic music.                          His journey began in the early 2008s, exploring the rich sounds of ’90s electronica, from breakbeat and Goa trance to ambient techno, drum & bass, and minimal house. 
Over time, this deep musical appreciation naturally led him to DJing and music production, shaping his own distinct sonic identity.

For the 16th episode, he has crafted a one-hour deep, hypnotic and atmospheric journey.
A trippy, immersive experience filled with wrapping sonic textures and mind bending soundscapes.

For our 28th podcast we invited the Italian artist Divide (@d17c11), who crafted a really unique and atmospheric mix for us, blending classy dub techno tracks with hypnotic and pulsating deep techno.

Elvin es una DJ turca, actualmente afincada en Berlín. Inició su trayectoria en Madrid, donde encontró inspiración en la vibrante escena de música electrónica española. Su desarrollo musical, desde melómana hasta convertirse en una presencia imponente detrás de la cabina, ha sido impulsado por su pasión, energía y talento natural para expresarse a través del sonido.  

Desde entonces, diversos clubes y colectivos musicales europeos han reconocido rápidamente su potencial y, en poco más de dos años, ha pasado por las cabinas de clubes destacados en Berlín, Holanda, Italia, Francia y Bélgica. Su sonido busca el equilibrio entre el techno clásico de Detroit y Reino Unido, y una música electrónica más innovadora que empuja los límites del género. Todo esto lo entrelaza con influencias del dub techno y sonidos orgánicos y tribales, creando una interpretación contundente pero conmovedora de la música electrónica.  

En esta ocasión, nos deleita con una sesión creada únicamente con producciones de mujeres, con el objetivo de dar visibilidad a aquellas productoras que aún no conocemos.

Elvin is a Turkish DJ currently based in Berlin. She began her career in Madrid, where she found inspiration in the vibrant Spanish electronic music scene. Her musical development, evolving from a music lover to becoming an impressive presence behind the booth, has been driven by her passion, energy, and natural talent for expressing herself through sound.

Since then, various clubs and musical collectives across Europe have quickly recognized her potential, and in just over two years, she has played at renowned clubs in Berlin, the Netherlands, Italy, France, and Belgium. Her sound seeks a balance between the classic techno of Detroit and the UK and more innovative electronic music that pushes the boundaries of the genre. She intertwines this with influences from dub techno and organic and tribal sounds, creating a powerful yet moving interpretation of electronic music.

On this occasion, she delights us with a session made exclusively with tracks by women, aiming to give visibility to those female producers we may not yet know.

As the founder of the Acquario project, and a DJ resident at Masada and Amelia since 2015, his unique sound has been shaping the underground scene for years. In 2024, he took his vision further by joining Thanks Mate, continuing to push the boundaries of his craft.

Known for his versatile style and exploration of genres, Dixie creates unexpected mixes and surprising contrasts that keep listeners on their toes.
