Brett Winterford has penned six songs inspired by Sydney Long's much-loved Australian landscape, 'Pan', which are to be released in mid-2012 as his first solo work: ‘The Greenthumb EP’.

Recorded by Josh Schuberth (Josh Pyke) and featuring special guests Mr Percival, Ray Mann and Kent Eastwood, The Greenthumb EP offers wistful lyrics and irresistible melodies and an enchanting mix of nylon-string acoustics and mandolins, pianos and mellotron, shakers, timpani and tom drums.

Lyrically, the Greenthumb EP deals with the reclaiming of imagination, freed from the constraints of institution. 

It is a wide-eyed expression of wonderment for the natural world.
