"The Pool" was a unique entity in the early-to-mid '80s out of Austin, Texas. The synthesizer project by drummer Patrick Keel released two albums and a series of EPs despite the gradual decline of the 'synth-pop' genre. "Jamaica Running" is the B-side to his "Dance It Down" single and the song appears to be a bit of an unusual track for The Pool, more laid back and groove focused than the rest of his work, which is more upbeat and energetic. With our edit we added a bunch of percussion and space echo dubs to give it a more tropical flair for our "Stir It Up" mixtape.

Far Too Loud - Firestorm [Funkatech Records]

A compilation devoted to the hours after leaving a rave or EDM night club and continuing on the experience until sunrise. A downtempo collection of tracks featuring trip hop, chill, deep house, ambient, acid jazz and 90's underground. Rather than a DJ set featuring EDM tracks, this is a collection of separate songs and sounds that takes you on a journey of walking out of a crowded venue to a car ride leaving to an underground after hours party on a rainy city night through the morning sun rise.

Bri Gisella is a deep house DJ, with a background as an Opera singer and orchestral musician, playing oboe and flute.

Bri is part of o3 Music which produces the event series Resurrect LA. o3 Music is a collective of DJs, musicians and producers specializing in all genres of electronic music. We are performers and listeners. DJs and friends. We have formed together based around our love for the music we play, and perform in order to give back to others.
