Welcome to the 3rd Birthday edition of my radio show! It's hard to believe that three years have passed since I started this show during the Pandemic. I'm still loving broadcasting to you all, and I hope that the show continues to spread happiness and positivity.

This week's special guest is a true legend of the disco world, MICHAEL GRAY. I'm a huge fan of his work, and have played many of his tracks on my show. Get ready for an incredible mix from the man!

** MICHAEL GRAY BIO **
Michael Gray is a hugely respected and established British DJ and music producer, best known for his hits ‘The Weekend’ & ‘Borderline’ He is also one half of the dance music production and remixing duo 'Full Intention' who have been at the forefront of Dance music since the early 90s.

London-based Michael is one of the most in-demand Artists on the global dance music scene today. Having relaunched his solo career as Michael Gray in 2018 to pursue his original love of Disco, Michael has already become the world #2 Soul/Funk/Disco Artist on Traxsource in 2019 - an incredible achievement and a worthy accolade for Michael's world-class production skills. Throw into the mix awesome DJ sets at the best events in the UK, and a host of chart topping tracks with Jon Pearn as Full Intention, and you start to see the full picture of one of the UK's most talented Artists. 

He has DJ’d all over the world from MOS in London to Hi (for Glitterbox) & Pacha in Ibiza and as far and wide as Poland, Germany, The Philippines, Australia, Russia, Brazil, Georgia, Spain and The Netherlands.

Michael also presents a monthly Radio show (broadcast both on Mi-Soul and Mi-House Radio) on the last Saturday of every month at 9 11 pm - a mix of the best upfront Disco & House, full of unreleased gems, the occasional forgotten classic and guest mixes from the likes of Dr Packer and Mousse T.

Michael has taken inspiration (and also receives huge support) from so many of his peers, such as Mousse T, Dimitri from Paris, Melon Bomb, Greg Wilson, Dr Packer, The Reflex, Horse Meat Disco, The Shapeshifters, Purple Disco Machine, Roger Sanchez, John Morales, Yam Who & Lo Steppa. He has also received a Grammy-nomination and is signed to Defected Records.

This month's show was a little bit different - with my good friend and excellent selector Tom Whittaker aka Even Funkier joining me in the studio for a proper back 2 back session. It was an absolute joy to share to share the decks, and a few beers, while covering some serious musical ground across the 2 hours .... we spun a completely off the cuff mix of stuff that we'd like to hear in a dark, sweaty, club... quirky electro disco, uplifting house, afrobeat, soulful house, nu-disco, 90s progressive classics and more! One of my favorite sets is Mochakk’s Cercle performance in Seville, Spain. He opens with ‘Proton Blue’ by Crackazat, a track that instantly hooked me with its elegant groove and immersive atmosphere. 

I had to spice it up by layering an acapella that blends perfectly with the instrumental, creating a groovier and more immersive journey.
