SONG NOTES and LYRICS:
I wrote this song about an imaginary character born and raised on the Mississippi, growing up to be a music man. It's not based on anybody real, but is a kind of tribute to all (blues) musicians down the ages, who have developed their own style of playing and have become admired by future generations. I was inspired to learn to play the guitar listening to great guitar players and fascinated by their ability to simultaneously play a bass line, percussive rhythm and melody, while singing at the same time. (For guitar players interested in how this song is played, it is capo'd at the first fret and played in Bflat, using the thumb on the left hand to play bass notes while stretching fingers 3 and 4 for hammer-ons.). Hope you like it!

Quite some time ago, I made a quick “live” recording of this classic old Beatles song. It was just to serve as an example of how Nat & I might try doing a proper recording at some future time. But as Nat has so often managed to do, she added her beautiful harmonies and piano work and other production touches to make something out of it that we both now feel is well worthwhile. This song was written by John Lennon and released on the 1965 Beatles album “Help!”.

This is a bluegrass song that the amazing Frans Beelaard (@user-936947521) sent me to which I added mandolin and guitar. he came up with the song, though, and you hear him on the bass, banjo, dobro, and fiddle on it. I'm amazed at his playing, and deeply honored that he would share his music with me like this. I sent him several takes, and he assembled the song from them. I can't begin to guess the amount of time, skill, and effort that went into polishing my attempts, but I'm very happy with his results, and very appreciative for his efforts. We truly hope you enjoy this as much as we enjoyed creating it.

The me you're currently seeing, does not exist.

It's as if I'm caught in a paradox, doing so much, yet feeling invisible.. An odd, feeling. How does one know if they exist, if they're invisible to the rest of the world?

In moments of solitude, when the noise fades.. Perhaps existence isn't, I’m but a ghost, living on hopes and dreams, and miserably failing at it. I create more than i ever have, i compose music, make models, produce videos, and create art. And yet, here i am failing miserably. Not existing.

Only truth is that i at least feel slightly better creating art now.
