Wow, A love this song. Various direction of music style

Sounds like Lush on testosterone, phat and meanwhile with a lightness, really an amazing track!

Breaking Benjamins does a song called Forget It where they do something similar where they keep going up with the song. Its very cool. Thats one of my favorite songs. This song is on a very epic level.

Always a treat to listen to your nice arpeggios combined with the wall of distortion! Great stuff!

What an impressive job. This is super well produced, there is nothing that sticks out. A huge bravo!  Passionate expression throughout..captivating effects..sumptuously infectious..perfectly executed...excellent mix & recording production!

it's been a dilemna to choose wether or not I would publish that track:
1. After hours and hours of work on mastering to remove the huge amount of noises on that old tape recording , it was only half a success...
2. I love this song!... despite its not perfect sound

Composed in July 16th 1989
Recorded in January 1992 on Yamaha 4 tracks

The song has been played live with the Catsbleed between 92 and 94, meeting a bit of success 🎈

About thirty years ago, I lived on a boulevard with incessant and very noisy road traffic. This artery was used dozens of times by emergency vehicles going to the emergency room near my home. And to top it off, the rooms of the apartment I rented were adjoining the delivery dock of a supermarket. Hell!
My next door neighbors were an elderly couple who had lived there forever. When I asked them if the noise didn't bother them, they both replied "Ah but not at all! We're used to it and we couldn't live without it, that reassures us!"
You will therefore have understood that this burlesque blues is for them who would certainly not have supported living in the countryside.

Cette piste est avant tout un test sur la voix car j'aime le blues!
Après 5 whiskys, 50 clopes, 10 cafés, quelques amphétamines, 2 tablettes de chocolat noir 100% cacao et 200 prises pour travailler ma voix, voici le résultat...

Il y a plus de trente ans, j'ai habité sur un boulevard au trafic routier incessant et très bruyant. Cette artère était empruntée des dizaines de fois par les véhicules de secours qui se rendaient aux urgences près de chez moi. Et pour combler le tout, les chambres de l'appartement que je louais étaient mitoyennes avec le quai de livraison d'un supermarché. L'enfer!
Mes voisins de palier étaient un couple de personnes âgées qui vivait là depuis toujours. Quand je leur est demandé si le bruit ne les dérangeait pas, ils m'ont répondu tous les deux "Ah mais pas du tout! On a l'habitude et on ne pourrait plus s'en passer, ça nous rassure!"
Vous aurez donc compris que ce blues burlesque est pour eux qui n'auraient certainement pas supporté de vivre à la campagne.
