This is an excerpt from a series of sound poems called "cellophane drums." It was completed with the help of sound engineer Kyra Soko in Argenta, B.C. Funding was provided by the Columbia Kootenay Cultural Alliance. (The accompanying image is former Prime Minister Jean Chretien after getting pied in the face; he is following one of the first cloned piglets, round and round, round and round).

This is a 'core-sampled' version of what was originally a prose poem dedicated to Michel Trudeau, who drowned in Kokanee Lake in 1998, at age 23. It is also dedicated to all those who were arrested without cause during the October Crisis in Quebec, 1970.
