Born in the very late 80's, during the Golden age of hip hop. Right after the concept of hip hop was figured out fully but, right before it became too commercial. In the times of De la soul, Leaders of the new school, nas, tupac, Biggie etc...KroYweN was born with a natural affinity and gift for the game. After being influenced by his dozens of cousins who also sought out 2 pursue careers in the music industry, an older brother who spun records all throughout the 5 boroughs of death in his younger years and a natural singing talent, he always knew it could be an option. After being born in the infamous area of Brownsville Brooklyn, spending a few years throughout queens, experiencing near poverty and a broken home, he had already dealt with the usual "classic rapper sob story" all before the age of 10. However with his optimistic attitude, a loving family and spiritual faith in God, he knew he would end up on the right path. He moved to Texas in 1999' to a radical culture shock, therefore falling back socially. In 2002' He started a short lived rapping group that consisted of his younger step brother Jamal and best friend Amos called "J.A.B" It seemed to be more of a hobby to them but, he decided to hone his skills musically and take a more serious approach. Around 2004' He formed another duo with his friend Immanuel "Prep man" Hill named "Twin City" Dedicated to the two different cities they represented being so different yet so alike. He has been a headlining force in the 2011 formed "Strait Krooked" alongside members Kalibrez and Young D with his 2012 "Homage" being prematurely released online but receiving a small level of local respect and notoriety. Since then he has used any time he can spare to write lyrics and plans on release a few mixtapes and an ep before 2017.
