A song about living on the edge in underground club's booze cans with dealers junkies strippers musician's DJ's in a strange mix of Toronto's underbelly in the late 80s many of us running from sexual and physical abuse living in a wacked out crazy world that seemed to have no future...lost damaged broken lives.

 Falling from grace without a trace just like pictures of my face torn from the pages of a magazine lost just like some old time cigarette machines

 We got driving beats and a pounding bass underground club's and UK subs pins and needles on the razors edge I say the lost beats are turning up the heat Ya we got flashing colors and strobe lights wailing sailing through my brain finding my feet on the street again empty in the middle of the night 

Standing still in the twilight zone like landing on the moon and waking up to a world gone mad

 Makes me wanna scream and shout shimmy and shake jump up and down to the heavy heavy sound of the lost beats

experimental electronic and analog sound with a roland spd-sx with rt-30 kick drum trigger vocals and back ground banging and clanging recorded in my van using a cell phone set to asmr sound recorder through a tape deck adapter while driving down the road don't try this at home folks.1 drum stick tea cup metal thermos plastic cup holder. 2 tracks recorded to laptop computer on the audacity platform. the song started off as a feeling passing by the townline road of Napanee and loyalist township on county road 22 at the beginning of covid summer 2020 and took on a life of it's own.
