Ideas like that pop into my head and won't leave sometimes. I tried adding more layers but sometimes solo piano is the only answer.

Sheerly messing around with some very enjoyable virtual instruments in an odd-time arrangement of one of my favorite jazz standards while procrastinating on other studio work I should have done today. I played everything, but only the saxophone is a "real" acoustic instrument. The piano is "Modern D" from VI-Labs, which is top-tier. The bass is Fluffy Audio's jazz upright, which I think is lovely. The drums are Authentic Soundware's "Jazz Anthology Drums" which are eerily good.

This was for a damn fun project. I didn't realize how much I'd enjoy cranking out industrial metal tracks. Turns out... I really, really enjoy it.
