This is a Christmas Carol that I wrote in 2012, however I decided to read it as a poem at the Bransgore Community Church Carol Service. The recording wasn't too bad so I have added it little background music to it (Jeff Deyo: You Are Good (Orchestral Movement) and hope that you both enjoy and will share this with friends over Christmas and New Year.

The Seal Lullaby

Recorded during the worship at the LEAF 'Joining the Dots Tour' Celebration evening with Global Day of Prayer & Worship convener Jonathan Oloyede this wonderful song was a heartfelt cry of worship from the many pastors and leaders who were present from churches throughout the New Forest on the South Coast of England.

The Praises of Your People

Brian Edgeley presently lives in the UK and is Director of ICT Media Tech. He was also founder of 'Fan into Flame Ministries': which was established in 1990 when several worship leaders and musicians decided that God was calling them to bless their local area in South East Essex through 'Music, Song and the Spoken Word of God'. Fan Into Flame Ministries was soon established and was an umbrella under which several people ministered; there was a worship band called "Fan The Flame" and a drama group called "The Bellows Drama Group." Alongside this there were a group of speakers / preachers who would minister the Word including Edgeley himself. Edgeley and Fan Into Flame Ministries signed a copyright publishers agreement with Geoff Shearn of  The Worship Service and this led to an agreement with Christian Copyright Licensing (CCLi). The association between Edgeley and Shearn had gone back several years when Shearn had founded the 'Christian Music Association' (CMA) which was the predecessor to the now global CCLi; Under Shearn's leadership the CMA had developed a pivotal licensing model that was able to include a broad representation of publishers to more than 2,000 churches within the UK. That Licensing model is now globally accepted under the CCLi banner.

When the band and the drama group was dissolved in 1995, Edgeley continued to travel and minister through 'Music, Song and the Spoken Word of God' to churches and youth group across the UK until 1997 (through 2000) when he moved to Christchurch and  took a Theological degree at Moorlands Bible College. During this time he was invited to become the College Worship leader leading at such events as the Inauguration of the new college president, The college 50th Jubilee celebrations and Spring Harvest 1999 with speaker and Spring Harvest founder Doug Barnett (Weymouth camp). During this period of time he was also invited to work alongside Blair Crawford of Hope FM, an emerging Christian Radio Station in Bournemouth, as presenter of the Youth Magazine Show 'The Saturday Morning MAD'. He also went on to present shows such as, Sunday Evening Worship WOW!, The Lunchtime Byte and Hope FM Worship on the Road: where local church services were recorded live, then edited, for a one hour show to be aired at 6PM the following week.

As part of his final year at Moorlands Edgeley chose to drop the 'Honours' part of his degree and to 'front' a vision for Christchurch Churches Together called "March for Jesus 2000" where 2000 marchers marched through the streets of Christchurch, Dorset, proclaiming Jesus to the community. This was also broadcast 'live-on-air' with Hope FM. From 2000 through 2003 Edgeley was the Coordinator of Hope FM and traveled widely in the UK, Europe and further a field until illness took him off the scene for several years.

A songwriter and word-smith in his own right Edgeley has written many songs to aid the Christian in their worship. He has also written many children's songs specific to holiday club themes. Mostly unpublished Edgeley's hope is that this site will be able to spark the imagination of Christian's worldwide and give them access to further material both old and new by spirit filled songsmith's whose material might be overlooked by the 'Christian Media' who seem to command the day within the Christian publishing media. 

Fan Into Flame Ministries has been resurrected as a copyright umbrella for Edgeley's songs and comes under ICT Media Tech.
