When my girlfriend (and love of my life) very timidly asked me one weeknight while watching AMCs The Walking Dead, "Babe, would you read some lyrics I wrote and let me know what you think?" I was filled with fear. From the question and the zombies. How do I tell her, that her lyrics, will likely need a lot of work and it takes years of hard work and blah blah blah...Fast forward 10 minutes later I'm grabbing my guitar and writing the music as you hear it today during the last commercial of the season finale.

Sparkling Christmas Eve

My college professor once told me during a piano lesson "you better practice (xy&z) other wise you will end up like a "Barroom Beethoven". I think he meant to discourage my pop sensability, but I thought that sounded awesome! 

My fascination with recorded music lies in the threshold. From the time the music is being created in the sleeping hours to when the song becomes a physical product.

Now I'm collaborating with talented friends, lyricists, musician's and producers to release original music for the enjoyment of folks like you, who’s taste in music knows no boundaries. Your iTunes playlist is the soundtrack of your life with all its ups and downs. My influences are rooted in the classics (Beatles, Dylan, Hendrix etc...) but I am inspired by the amazing pop and indie music being created today. I imagine my latest efforts might land somewhere between Paul Simon and Ellie Goulding. The only constraints I have on my songwriting is the ability to strip each song down to vocal/guitar.

I'm also documenting my passion (or mad obsession) for songwriting on Instagram and Twitter.
