I've always been a huge fan of longer set times as it enables me to fully tell my stories without any boundaries, which is why the concept of Flow Sessions deeply resonated with me early on. I deep dived in my library for days and after everything was set, I've just let it flow in my studio for 3 hours 33 minutes and 33 seconds, fluently grooving to higher BPMs, playing some of the most beautiful tracks I've collected over the years. Some hidden gems, some long forgotten beauties, a few new unreleased tracks of mine... I hope you flow as much as I did while recording this and it makes the upcoming autumn and winter months a little more bearable to you if you're based in the northern hemispheres. If you're to be found in the southern hemispheres I hope it makes you smile to the sun and appreciate life and music to the fullest. Isn't music such a beautiful thing?!

Thank you everyone that join us on Sunday afternoon at the Bushtechno Floor, Esoteric Festival 2023. This was my first appearance at the festival and it has such a unique energy & feeling of love and pure freedom. Congratulations to all the crew involved at Esoteric Festival for an amazing production and thanks Muska, Jed, Rhys, Cameron Coley and especially Viktor Legin for helping make the booking happen. I wanted to go on a real journey with this set, through my catalogue of new and old tunes, many favourites thrown in there. I kept it Melodic and emotional to begin with, but as you progress deeper into it you feel some darkness start to creep in, slowly rising in tempo and intensity. I pictured playing an extended sunset slot while mixing, easing out of the lighthearted daytime vibes and progressing into heavier night time energy towards the end.

From the network of souls and spirits that loom in the loam, a dark figure emerged as if summoned. At first I trembled and shook, and then I took a closer look and saw that the shadow with it's arm outstretched toward me offered not terror, but dance and mysterious melody. And in this way, was born Shadow Play. A way to be free for both friend and enemy. A way travelled  with love through the darkness and the light.
