Another year and another incredible night under the God Said No pyramid at Blazing Swan. Although this has become such a familiar place, I can never fully prepare myself for how incredible the vibe is every time.

I am very pleased to present to the world, my set from the Melodic Madness night on Friday. This one is a true journey down the path of hypnotic, bass driven melodic techno. It's hard to describe what makes this set different to my usual style, however I feel like has a level of cohesion and more of a rolling subtle build to what you may have learnt to expect from me, but maybe I'm over thinking it. Either way I'm very happy with how this journey has turned out.

A few words from Luca:

"I've always been fascinated by rhythm and how it can create connections .
As a family we were encouraged to delve deeply into music so as a kid, I started experimenting with my dad’s blues, jazz & funk albums which then led to rock and heavy metal as a teen. It was just natural to then take up the drums when my older brother formed a band, playing lead guitar,  and we started rehearsing out of the garage. Growing up in Milan, the club scene exposed me to big name techno & house and inevitably, this merged with the varied music genres I was exposed to from an early age and my passion grew. I continued my musical journey inspired by deep electronic beats, strong disco feels  and the sounds of the world.

Moving to Australia,is when I really found my creative focus in music and bought my first set of decks in 2013. With the support of some very talented DJ's in Perth, I was encouraged to experiment with blending live instrumental music and ethnic electronic rhythms to create a deeply organic and global sound that I am still discovering today.

After being welcomed to Sydney,  and playing a few events over the last year, I’m very fortunate to have my friends at The Fan Club ask me to contribute this mix. I hope that it tells you a story and is as much fun to listen to as it was to make!

We've been playing for the crew at Robot Heart for close to a decade now and each experience we've had is always so memorable, mostly because of the love and appreciation we feel from the whole crew and their impeccable attention to detail, allowing us to do what we do best, play records. 

When we were invited for the inaugural season of events in Oakland, we were deeply honored.

Welcome to the 124th chapter of the Deep Electronics Podcast. This weekly posted podcast brings you the best deep electronic music. This week is Claudio Casparini his turn to bring a more dubtech, dubhouse related mix. Enjoy!

Bio:

Claudio was born in Turin (Italy) at the end of the eighties. As a young man claudio he approaches the music by playing guitar,in adolescence begins to fall in love of the electronic music. Atmospheric sounds , hot pads , deep bass and melodic leads were for him love at first listen! At the age of 15 he buy his first deck and began to collect vinyls, techno, house, progressive and ambient are the preferred styles. Claudio at 17 age begins playing at private parties, in 2008 some of his sets are transmitted on radio exogroove. At 20 age Claudio approaches the world of keyboards and began playing the piano and organ. Specialized as operator electronic, Claudio begins to repair old analog synthesizers, the buying and selling are his hobby. He is currently studying the sound synthesis and modulation to recreate a day a his personal style.
