Lush Life Below the Poverty Line was recorded at various locations over several years. The Recording Arts Program at McGill University hosted us for recording sessions produced by George Massenburg and Richard King. Three tracks tracks from  the album are from this session. A year earlier, while the DoneFors were on tour, we were invited by Pouya Hamidi to record the band. After an intense 4 hour session we left with the bed tracks of two more songs. A year before that, recording  Award Winning Album with Jeremy Darby, we had an extra track, that wasn't fully matured so we saved it for the next album. We did one bed at the Glenn Gould with our friend John Maclean, who also recorded horns and some vocals for the album at his home studio. We did the rest of the vocals, percussion, accordion and keys at the Super Happy Awesome House as we birthed each song into existence.
