PRANCE was at the height of his fame in 1989 when he retreated to his home studio to work on his masterpiece. What he created instead was his abandoned legendary opus 'SUPER DUDE'. 

Fragments from the sessions exist in an early mix form.
This collection consists of sessions from Summer of 1989.

Garry Howards in Strolling Bone magazine issue #21,923 [2004]: 

"Nearly-but-not-quite band 'Nearvana' were very unfortunate. This was due, in part, to them looking and sounding almost exactly like another slightly better Seattle band that was popular at the time, resulting in them being totally overlooked by the record buying public at large.

And whilst NEARVANA's lead singer Burt Propane always insisted they were 'there first', it was simply a case of finders keeper, losers weepers. Which ironically was the name of NEARVANA's first LP. A record their label Guffin decided to shelve. This brief demo is all there is.

Regrettably, Propane was fatally injured during a unicycling holiday in the mountains alone with his now very wealthy widow Whoopsie Cash-Grab. The bass player String Bean left the music business shortly thereafter to pursue something or other and the Drummer Grave Misgivings went on to have an inexplicably successful career churning out utterly forgettable songs for decades and decades.

血を分けた兄弟 (BLOOD BROTHERS) was a popular cult cartoon amongst mid '80s Japanese children. It aired on 土曜の朝の漫画アクションパレス (Saturday Morning Cartoon Action Palace) between August 1983 and September 1985.

Whilst the show was mostly in Japanese, the producers chose an English language theme (composed by Masaki Nishimura with lyrics by Fred Nugent) to give it 'American Flavour'. To this day you can stop anyone between 40 and 47 years old on the streets of Japan and they will likely be able to recite the theme flawlessly.
