This song is a demo, and it's about a young lady I dated a while ago who obviously broke my heart. I was about 20 when I wrote the song and am now 26. The premise is that no matter what I did to forget her, her image would still reign dominant in my head. Hence, I titled the song "Images" to emphasize the "Images" that constantly played in my head no matter how hard I tried to forget her. And it friggin rocks!

Amber Lights

This high energy, jump off your seat track is a demo song called Heart of Gold. It's about a sailor who loses his love in an accident at sea, and metaphorically dies, only to return as a spectre who roams the seas in a ghost ship, carving out hearts until he finds love again. The whole thing is a metaphor for when you go through a breakup and become a wild heartbreaker until you find someone with a heart of gold that changes everything, kind of bringing you back to life.

It's only half the song as a preview, there will be a second verse and breakdown soon!

Heart Of Gold

This is a demo of a song I wrote and produced in my living room using a keyboard, a guitar and a microphone cause I'm broke :P. It's called "Summer Time". It's actually my first attempt at making a poppy, catchy, dance, whatever type song :). I tried to incorporate elements of  mainstream catchy pop stuff so that it can be enjoyed by a general audience. However, I'm a metal head at heart! Hence, the electric guitar incorporated to add that rock feel! I suppose you can say it's an attempt to get the kids listening to a more diverse sound than what's typically heard mainstream. I feel its all Hip Hop/R&B, Pop, Dubstep/House, Country and Classic Rock, all as separate, feuding entities. I'd like to kind of clash it all together and get some diversity in the mix. I'm pretty proud of the result :). Yes, this has a pretty mainstream feel as well but its my first attempt at something outside of my punk/metal roots and I hope you enjoy! P.S. Please pardon the off point vocals :p. This entire song is going to be re-done as this is just the demo. I just kind of wanted to hear it more so than get it perfect. KEEP AN EYE OUT FOR AN UPDATE!! Summer Time

Hey guys! Ok, so I made this beat when I first got my little 2 channel Presonus Audiobox USB Interface, and was conducting experiments with my keyboard and all the sounds on it. This isht is pretty dope considering I'm not the best audio engineer in the world, I'm limited to the silly sounds on said keyboard, and I just sit in front of my TV with some headphones on and a sammich and jam away =P. Anyway, It's only a 20 second instrumental loop ..no lyrics..so put it on repeat, and kick a freestyle! Have fun :P. Imma finish it soon and add more structure, a verse, a chorus, a drop, etc. But thats what I got so far :)

Epic Beat

Here's a song I wrote last summer and still never finished. A little Reggae influence from my Jamaican side gives this song a great groove as well as a bit of melancholy! This is the scratch demo version of only half the song! It will pick up and become more dynamic by the mid to end! 

With the help of my friend Mariana Burke singing the female part, this song tells the story of two people destined to be together, yet, the girl refuses to rush into things. This ultimately leads to a tragic end that I won't give away  so keep on listening ;)! Mariana and I were just messing around on vocals and she JUST learned the fast paced lyrics at the time of recording so go easy on us! The real version will be out soon! Enjoy this teaser! What's going on guys! My name's Brian Lee Chee and I'm a singer/songwriter. On my page you'll see a few demos and incomplete works, experimental tracks and basically me messing around with my gear, testing my engineering abilities.
