2014 kicks off with another producers competition on the Drum & Bass Arena forum revisiting the popular format of remixing a classic. Following on from previous remix competitions we are now picking up the time period of ’99 to ’03. An era where Shy FX blew up into the UK mainstream with the likes of ‘Shake Ur Body’ and ‘Feelin’ U’, Shimon & Andy C’s ‘Body Rock’ was rewound more times than a backwards waltzer and labels such as Back 2 Basics where revisiting their self-proclaimed classics.

Originally produced by Sound of the Future in 1995, the original is probably one of the biggest jungle tunes from this era. The remix was produced for the Drum & Bass Arena competition in September 2011.
