Did this one back in late 2007/early 2008 all in Reason 3. My friends Magic Chef and Lou Pal wrote most of the melodic parts, I did the drums and arrangement.

Phil Western - Ghost In Your Bed (Brian Oblivion's "Between the sheets" mix)

Back in 2008 when I was part of the Innerflight Music label, we put out a track by Los Angeles artist Harrison Schaaf titled Zombie Outbreak. In February of 2010 we released the Zombie Outbreak remixes featuring reworks by Falcon & The Snowman, Kid Blue, and Angel Alanis. At that time I had also started a remix of my own which I had titled the "Pandemic mix". I was still developing my remix/production skills back then, so after getting about 90% finished, it spent the next decade languishing in the back of my hard drive.
In March of 2020, when the World Health Organization declared the COVID-19 outbreak a pandemic, I was soon laid off from my job and looking at being holed up at home for a sustained period of time. So of course I decided that now was the time to resurrect my remix of Zombie Outbreak, give it a bit of an overhaul, then finally lay it to rest.

I want to be clear that I am in no way trying to make light of this current global crisis. It is very serious, and everyone needs to do their part in coming together to fight this. May we all take some of this time to re-examine and rethink some of our socio-economic systems, and the presumptions that they're built upon. I hope that humanity can come out of this with a new sense of solidarity and purpose.

The Enchanted Village (MP11.XMESS 2020 special)

Dedicated to Ann Routier, step-mother to me and my siblings through our late teens and early adulthood. She lost her battle with cancer on Feb 4th 2021. I am eternally grateful for the time we spent together and what she brought into our lives.
Several weeks before she passed when I learned of the severity of her condition, I decided to make a piece of music for her. Ann was always supportive of my musical pursuits, so I wanted to make this for her as a thank you, and as a farewell.
