Several days ago an acquaintance of mine suggesting listening to the tune "Thrift Shop."  Whilst I found this tune rather engaging, the melodic material seemed underutilized, and the thematic material underdeveloped.  I rushed to the studio with an idea.  An opportunity.  I hope you'll enjoy this new, and dare I say, improved, version of today's #1 song.

Our second hit from Macklemore and Ryan Lewis is terrific improvement over their earlier efforts.  This #1 single already includes trumpets on the original recording, which I think we can all agree was a wise decision.  However, the heavenly brass sounds are obscured by some of the vocals and electronic sounds.  We've taken the liberty of re-recording this, but adding a total of 6 trumpet parts, including overdubs.  Enjoy!
