A recording of a set I did live at Just 2 Def 30th Reunion Jam on the 9th December 2017 at Monster Robot Party Records in Red Hill, Brisbane, Australia. 

Just 2 Def was a Hip Hop/Electro radio show on 4ZZZ that myself and Geoff (Jigzaw, Jafa) started back in 1988 spearheading Hip Hop and Electro  in Brisbane from obscurity to the mainstream. 

This set is my showcase of what Electro music is like now in the modern age. ElectroBass is the hardstyle of Electro and is the natural progression from early 80s Electro into a more technical and heavier bassline style which is simply perfect for club dancefloors worldwide. 

ElectroBass is spreading from Florida and has crossed over into many European countries including Germany and Austria. I am bringing it to Australia and starting it out where I began my DJ career in my smoky little town of Brisbane, Australia. Hopefully it will spread from here.

This is specially dedicated to my friends over in Sth Florida at Joe's party!! I can't be there due to undisclosed reasons but I am with you in spirit guys!!! \o/ Who knows maybe the future will allow us to get together somehow and do that show with you Matt :) This jam is for you guys to warm up too and go HAMS!!!! \o/

Also special dedication to the artists who made these excellent tracks and remixes for me to mix with. Full respect to you guys, this ain't about me, it's totally to showcase your excellent talent that constantly leaves me breathless. I hope you feel the love guys, coz I am truly sending it.

OMG It's Electroing HAM!!

First and foremost, I am one of Australia's premiere Electro DJ's. I have been listening and mixing Electro, Hip Hop and Techno since their inceptions and am happy to be back placing my sole focus on all styles of Electro again. 

Lately I have been getting more into the Electrobass harder styles of Electro coming out of Florida. In particular, groups like the mighty Code Rising and Ohverclock. I am working my butt off to bring more people into Electro here in Aus but it's hard to do coz Aus seems to still be stuck in the house/techno scene.

Anyway I won't give up and I won't stop coz this music has been a part of my life since the early days of Kraftwerk and Planet Rock etc.
