Recorded at Keepsakes’ place in Christchurch — reportedly the only spot in town with a Xone DJ mixer — it’s a snapshot of his current inspirations.

FORMS is the new live techno project from Brian Sanhaji and Monoloc,
two artists who have shaped Frankfurt’s uncompromising sound for more than two decades.

FORMS – EMPHAZE
A sonic triptych built for dark rooms and focused minds.
With EMPHAZE, FORMS present a tightly sculpted three-track EP that explores the raw architecture of modern techno,uncompromising, immersive, and physically direct.
Each track reveals a different facet of the duo's sound while staying true to their shared aesthetic: minimal structure, detailed execution, and relentless drive.
Emphaze unfolds gradually through pulsing sub bass, washed-out textures, and subtle modulations. The result is a hypnotic, tension-filled piece,perfectly suited for the late hours. Tibanna follows with a precision-built, mechanical groove, dry, focused, and relentlessly pushing forward.
Surrender in Depth closes the EP in a meditative low-end framework, where tonal shifts and rhythmic layering sustain a deep, restrained momentum.
EMPHAZE captures the essence of FORMS: reduced, atmospheric, and deeply rooted in the moment. Techno without ornaments - just structure, pressure, and pulse.

FORMS - Tibanna | by Brian Sanhaji & Monoloc

Hellix is a techno artist and vinyl enthusiast who has established himself as a driving force in Krakow's underground electronic music scene. Originally from eastern Poland, where his journey began with early trance influences and evolved into a deep commitment to techno.

Invited by Aetha and Diabot to co-create Feed, he contributes to cultivating Poland’s underground culture through carefully curated events and collaborative projects. A regular resident at Noce KRK, Hellix is respected for his vinyl-focused approach and meticulous technical skill. He is particularly known for pitch-riding the art of beatmatching using only the pitch fader while leaving the records untouched, which gives his sets a distinct precision and consistency grounded in the discipline of vinyl mixing.

Over the years he has shared the stage with an array of international and local talent, including Benales, Madalba, Mario Berger, Mary Yuzovskaya, Stranger, Border One, Hemka, The Lady Machine and many more. His practice is dedicated to creating meaningful musical experiences that connect techno’s foundational sounds to the scene’s contemporary pulse.

For the seventh episode of Tanzgentapes, we proudly present Carara — a respected techno veteran and long-standing force in Germany’s underground scene.

Now based near Aachen, with residencies at Musikbunker / Hotel Europa Aachen and H14 Würselen, Carara has built a reputation for his powerful and dynamic sound.

Supported by some of the most influential names in the techno world — from Richie Hawtin to Charlotte de Witte and Amelie Lens — Carara’s work stands as a testament to uncompromising underground energy.
