I am the founding member and lead guitarist of progressive rock band Gideons Mob. I have been playing guitar for 36 years, 29 years professionally, and also a former guitar instructor.  My Influences are: Pink Floyd, Uriah Heep, Beatles, David  Bowie,Supertramp, Moody Blues, ELP, ELO, YES, King Crimson, Led Zeppelin, Black Sabbath, Deep Purple, Rainbow. Iron Maiden, Jethro Tull, Rush,  Genesis, Judas Priest,Camel, Marillion, Queen, Dio, Renaissance, Curved Air, Alice Cooper, Dream Theater, Savatage, Allan Holdsworth, Yngwie Malmsteen, Steve Vai, Joe Satriani, Mike Oldfield, Zappa, Brian Wilson, John Coltrane and Miles Davis.  (in no particular order).  
I am also a lifelong comic book collector (last count to my wifes dismay is at about 25,000+) and We have a tune based on Jack the king Kirbys Fourth World, and Our Name Gideons Mob is based on the characters Gideon Stargrave and King Mob from Grant Morrisons amazing Invisibles comic!
