This track is made using just five samples bundled with Bitwig Studio. This track was composed as an example for a series of videos on music creation/production inside of Bitwig Studio. Only parameters inside of the inspector view or clip automation were used for sample variations.

Dreams

How "Your Love" makes me feel like. 

For a series of videos I'm making on Bitwig Studio and Music Production (http://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLppiTGoCM2hK-iqNRJzdCdOaRHYWDncW8) I challenged myself to make a composition using one sample and the bundled delay and frequency based effects inside of the software.

I decided to really test myself and chose to make my sample the first track that popped up on my youtube page...

It turned out to be Nicole Scherzinger's latest single Your Love. After many a listen and countless roadblocks here is what I came up with.

There are intentional phase disparities and things that will impact playback on different systems. For your first listen I would recommend using full range headphones. I only recommend that because I used headphones when making this...but I bet it would be an interesting listen on any system.

Origins

An original work made as an example for a series of videos on Music Production/Creation in Bitwig Studio. The only instrument I had access to was the E-Clap.

For this composition I randomly generated numbers to determine what FX, containers, and modulators I could use. In addition I randomly generated a number to determine how many hours I had to work. 

This piece was completed in approximately 2 hours.

Searching for Satie

Composition played in live using Bitwig Studio and a couple simple Midi Controllers.

This work experiments and plays with the frequencies and notes of the tristan chord whilst a live performance of Wagner's prelude plays in the background.

Electronic Variation on a Wagner Prelude (Tristan und Isolde)

Made as an example for a series of videos on Bitwig Studio and Music Production. For this piece I only used the E-Snare and a select number of additional devices. Only had two hours to complete this as well.
