A side - Lake - is a lovely little end of summer track, tight composition and orchestration all with a nice electronica feel.

B side - Exergy - is closer to a dancefloor track, lots of energy and interesting sound design, all topped off with the catchy melodies you would expect from Bassosula.

Heavy kicks and slamming snares gets intwined with stabbed out twisted bass notes that will turn your stomach inside out, while the pitched down vocal runs along with the groove of the track to make it that edgy, dark dance floor anthem. Already gaining attention and support from the likes of DJ HYPE, HAZARD, GUV, ANNIX, TURNO, NORTH BASE, TYKE and many more key players in the game. Another tune to be a big contender within the jump up Drum & Bass scene this year. DO NOT SIT ON THIS ONE! YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED!

Moving to the other side now and we have the sounds of WILE OUT with it's laid back melodic intro to get the show started. Soon as it gets going, the WILE OUT vocal starts pulsating throughout over the luscious soundscape layers that builds up too this dance floor destroyer. Once dropped all hell is let loose as we get to hear Heavy well produced drum programming over some dub wise bubbling basslines. Trust me, these guys are not messing around. Be sure to keep you eyes on these guys with more music forthcoming on the label.

Brian Brainstorm & Speaker Louis bring forth a two track smasher in the form of ‘Coke & Rum’ and ‘Soldier Man’. If you ever needed an excuse to pump up the volume, then either of these tracks will have you reaching for the dial in seconds. 
 
‘Soldier Man’ harks back to the mid 90’s with its multi note, single tone bassline that has just the right amount of warmth to compliment the vocal melodies. Bright horn stabs and some big rolling drums are no doubt the order of the day here. 
 
A slightly tougher approach with ‘Coke & Rum’ which is certainly driven by its punchy breakbeat and low end warbles. Another party starter for sure and with it’s memorable vocals, it’s bound to stick in your head for months to come.
