LNOE137 showcases the fruits of an exciting collaboration between US based producers; Rinzen & Enamour. Both have a very impressive track records, releasing music on labels like Mau5trap, Anjunadeep, Yoshitoshi and more. This joint effort brings out the signature qualities of both producers, utilizing the weight of Rinzen’s cinematic sound design techniques and the playfulness found through Enamour’s eclectic musical upbringing.
 
The result is best described as a club EP, containing huge awe-inspiring moments and some very big grooves. The title track ‘Photon’ creates an intriguing atmosphere, using spread-out staccato melodies and a big bass-line to set the mood, followed by ‘Miracle of The Sun’, bringing a playful groove into the landscape and slowly building towards a drop of cosmic proportions. We’ve asked both producers to give their comments about this release;
 
Rinzen: "I'm honored to make my debut on Last Night On Earth with this new EP with Enamour. I've always loved the label's consistency and quality of releases. Beyond that, Sasha has had a major influence on my career and is a constant source of inspiration. It feels surreal to be releasing on his label now."
 
Enamour: “Sasha has been a role model for many years as someone who confidently stands between genres, bridging the sounds of the past and future—two traits I consider defining elements of the Enamour project. It's been great working with my good friend Rinzen again. I find we work really well together, pushing each other out of our usual habits to create music uniquely different from our own styles yet still a clear mix of our musical DNA.”
 
The EP also features a remix by the Polish producer ANII, who has been making a name for herself on labels like Afterlife, Kompakt and Stil Vor Talent. The rising star has outdone herself on crafting a remix of ‘Photon’ utilizing her enigmatic plucked synths, and signature drums to shape the original tune into a big festival banger. 
 
Rinzen & Enamour’s full EP is already out, followed by the ANII Remix which is out today - available across all digital platforms.

For the second release on his new Endangered Records imprint, Brian Cid taps rising producer Justin Marchacos for an alluring 3-track EP of emotive, progressive house.

Based out of New York City, Justin first made a name for himself in the local scene with a debut performance of his live set at the Cityfox Experience a few years ago.  Since then, he’s firmly established himself in NYC as a core artist in both the ebb + flow family & Cityfox.  As a producer, he’s collaborated on his original tracks with artists like Julia Govor and Jay Tripwire, with releases & remixes on a number of labels. 

The title track ‘Kingdom’ off this EP sets the tone for the release, and shows Justin’s roots as a composer for music for films.  “As always for me it's important for my tracks to maintain a cinematic quality and be able to work effectively on a huge sound system…I really feel like exploring these ideas as well as restricting myself in some ways helped to create a sound totally new to me.”  Along with the punchy, driving bass of the second track ’Optics’, Justin also collaborates with Brian Cid to finish up the EP on ‘The Chase’.  With its dark and spacey atmospherics, combined with powerful grooves, the result of the collab is a beast of a tune.

A fantastic second release of deep, progressive house music for the label.

This exciting artist first started in music by playing the guitar in several bands, performing punk rock, psychedelia, post core and folk. In parallel to live music he developed an interest in electronic sounds and club culture, eventually leading him to become a DJ and producer. Now he mixes up analog synths, positive melodies and strong African rhythms on labels like Skatcity, Azzur Frau Blau and Isolate.

Says Ivory about the release, "The relation between art and who makes it, the artist, is something really strong and definitely devoted," he says. The art pushes an artist to do something for love, to stay loyal with his grace, the miracle of translating our inner essence into something you can show and share. The ‘Your Grace EP’ is about this, devotion, passion and art. "

Excellently moving opener 'Your Grace' sets a mournful tone thanks to the sombre lead synth smears and deep, introspective drums. The hypnotic 'Things We Do For Love' is more edgy, with a busy lead and warm drums run through with thundering claps and loose percussion designed to make you move, it's a slow burning but enthralling track. 'The Pack Survives' then explores more cosmic and melody grooves, with celestial keys and rolling drums sinking you into a gorgeous musical reverie. Closer 'Madena' ft Auggie is brightly lit with tense chord sequences and rumbling, tribal drums, it's filled with a sense of drama and makes for another perfect house music adventure.

This is a strong debut from Ivory that marks another fine EP for Connected.
