Learning To Fly

Scheduled on the first and Third Thursdays of January - April at Mia & Pia's Pizzeria and Brewhouse from 6-8pm, our Showcase Series is a direct beneficiary of proceeds from the Klamath Folk Festival. Open to all ages and free admission, the program features up to two area acts per evening for a 45 to 60 minute set each. In addition to featuring established regional talent, the program is designed to create opportunities for developing acts ready to take the next step with their music and public performances. The goal is also to introduce local audiences to new and up and coming talent in our region.

Ghost of Brian Craig, is a solo live music project produced and performed by Brian Craig Hinderberger who is a talented Bend, Oregon singer/songwriter with a unique and captivating acoustic sound. Using a looping pedal and his skillful acoustic guitar playing, he creates intricate and dynamic soundscapes that showcase his artistic vision. In addition to his acoustic guitar, he also incorporates harmonica and pedal steel guitar into his performances, adding depth and texture to his music. “It’s like I’m performing with a ghost,” says Hinderberger – hence the project’s name.

His music is infused with the rich combination and cultural influences of the Arizona Southwest and Pacific Northwest. With a style that blends elements of folk, rock, and country, Ghost of Brian Craig creates a sound that is both intimate and energetic. With lyrics that are both honest and poetic, his music speaks to the human experience in a way that is relatable and emotionally resonant.
