Dear God

Brian Elder is a singer, songwriter and a worship leader originally from Virginia. After years of playing music, he gave it up and started working in film, with no desire to play music again. In 2019, Elder began to battle depression and anxiety. During that season, he reached out to God asking for purpose. One day, while sitting in his room, he felt led to pick up his guitar, so he did. Elder started writing songs about what he was going through. He had no idea what God was preparing him for. Through the depression and anxiety, Elder felt closer to Jesus than he had ever before, his love for music was restored and he started writing again.

“God not only got me through that season in my life, but He gave me testimonies and music to share. These songs are for anyone who needs to hear them, but they are also a part of my healing. When I listen to them or play them, they are a reminder to me of how faithful God has been and always is.”
