This is a song I wrote after 9/11 to sooth myself. I wanted to do something, to fight, to be angry, to take action somehow, as everything else at the time seemed so inconsequential and frivolous. It helped me to remind myself there are still small things in our own lives that are important to the world even in the darkest times.

This is the title track to a song cycle I'm completeing which examines my experiences as a Jewish wedding musician. As a Jewish musician, I have found Jewish weddings to be a pretty wild collision of art, religion, issues of individual  identity and community, peer pressure, vanity, finance, etc.
