This was a mix I did back at club 600 North in Daytona Beach Fl. around 1999-2000. Mixed live not done on a computer... using vinyl and cd's! At the time of the release of this mix, I called it Funking Around 1.0 based off of the funky break beat tracks on this mix. I thank all the artists on this mix for allowing me to use as a promotional tool. All rights reserved to the individual artists. This is a tribute mix for our event "600 North Reunion" on Sept 16th 2023 on the rooftop of the Streamline Hotel in Daytona Beach Fl. Feel free to download and pass along.

Brian Keith grew up in Central Florida. Ever since the 90's, Brian has been captivated by electronic music. After being a fan for many years, he got his first set of Technics Turntables in 1999. Since then, he has played throughout Florida and the Eastern United States with some of the greatest talent in electronic music.
He has now devoted most of his time to producing music. Having a life centered around music, he has grown up listening to all kinds music from old school funk and disco, to hip hop and rock. His taste in electronic music is just as diverse and includes trance, breakbeats, house, dub, and more. Brian doesn't like to box himself into one genre of music and this clearly shows in his dj sets and music production. Today, his experience, keen ear for music, and versatility make him a rising talent to look out for in the near future!
