Sometimes I wonder where I'd be without her,
And I just can't picture anything.
I haven't slept that well for the past few weeks now,
Because I can hear her crying when she doesn't know I'm listening.

What does it mean?
Does it mark the end for the two of us?
Because I've tried to ask her once or twice and she doesn't seem to hear.

I was sitting on the rooftop earlier today,
When I first noticed how all the colors had started to fade.
And though it was right there- I didn't draw a parallel between you and I.
Instead I closed my eyes and wished quietly to be swept away.

The moments in between the thoughts we choose to think,
Are usually closer to the truth.
At some point I can't place, you and I changed.
And I've spent all this time trying to recognize you.

What does it mean?
Could we maybe change back to who we used to be?
Because I've been asking myself for days and getting nowhere.
