Another Juggernauts classic... This was recorded on a tape recorder live during a practice session back in the 1980's. I added some atmospheric backing plus a piano track to the original (muddy) recording. I just love this track... its lyrics and unusual chord structure... and only Max can make such a brilliant drum track for such reflective song..

He bore the sin of many trouble wracked his beaten frame
He was pierced and beaten for our evil deeds.
The punishment that bought us peace, was brought down upon him
It was by the stripes of Christ we have been healed

There was nothing in his person to suggest the power he had
But when his time was up he gave his all

He knew the way of sorrow yet he didn’t raise a cry

Quickly did this today before work. Bridge could use a guitar solo. In one part the original tape gets a bit scratchy/hissy. Still... awesome song
