L'artiste Roots Zombie nous vient tout droit d'aquitaine. Il est le fondateur du collectif Sound Rising avec Drum Thêatre de Bordeaux. 

Ancien guitariste du groupe punk bordelais "Arrested", et élevé à la culture boeuf qui en 2009, jouant guitare, basse et clavier eut l'idée de rassembler ses instruments, d'y ajouter des synthés, des samples et de les remixer façon dub. A la passion des instruments s'est ajoutée celle des machines, un melting-pot de sons fait maison, joués en live dans les circuits électroniques des machines analogiques.

Il sort ainsi son troisième ep Skank The Bass chez Marée BASS.

Cet opus est marqué par la dubstep vibe mais avec une expérimentation très particulière à l'artiste. Un mélange de skanks bien steppers, de rythmiques bien digitales, de samples bien étudiés et un question/réponse très approfondi des wobbles avec la basse.

The artist Roots Zombie, straight from Aquitaine, is foundator of SOund Rising Collectif with Drum Theatre from Bordeaux.
Former guitarist from the punk band from Bordeaux "Arrested", educated with jam session, who in 2009, while playing guitare, bass and keyboard, decided to gather his instruments, adding synthesizers, samples and then remixing it in the dub way.
Added to his passion for the instruments, here come the one for the machines. A meltingpot of home made sounds, played live through the electric circuits of analog machines.

Then here come his 3rd EP, Skank The BASS, out on Marée BASS.

This opus, stamped by the dubstep vibe, but with a very particular experiementation from the artist. A mixture of deep steppers skanks, digitals rythmics, well elaborated samples and a deep question/answer of the wobbles coupled with the bass.
