Recently noticed for his highly energetic DJ sets, barely 20 years old youngster GREG, resident of Parisian’s hottest parties « La Creole » and also member of the growing crew « Boukan Records », is back in the limelight to release his very first EP « Eau Coulée Smart City » on former Concrete (Paris) club founder’s label: lavibe.
While the title refers to his hometown in Mauritius, the Parisian based producer delivers a four-tracker club-ready tool, with various tempo, blending Kuduro, Shatta, Jungle and more, standing as a sonorous portrayal of his city as well as a mix of all his musical influences.
The Ep also includes “Dembow Tronico”, a club banger produced in collaboration with french producer and beatmaker King Doudou, known to be the man behind many hits, including productions for PNL, J Balvin or Bad Gyal.

Casual Gabberz’s member and super skilled producer Krampf, reinforced the EP with some additional productions and mix on “Eau Coulée Smart City”, “Langet”, “Shatta”, and mix only on “Dembow Tronico”.

All tracks have been mastered by Lorenzo Targhetta.

This month S&B's @SmallCrab chats to Berlin-based ELLLL for our In Conversation series 005.
For those who don’t know her, ELLLL is an Irish Dj, producer, and Gash Collective co-runner currently based in Berlin.
Ellen is an accomplished Dj with two Boiler Rooms under her belt and many releases with various Labels.
In 2018, she decided to relocate to Berlin where we got to catch up with her.
Here in Berlin, we caught up with Ellen about her incredibly successful and inspiring career as a Dj and producer, Gash Collective, Berlin and her thoughts on the Irish electronic music scene.

dj excel is a DJ, artist and producer currently based in South London. An active member of SODAA, a non-hierarchical collective looking to develop a model for a decentralised community operated venue. This five track EP expertly twists and screws broken drums, while creating a dark and intense atmosphere which never loses focus with its pumping, mind-altering groove heard throughout. They have tunes already supported by object blue and DJ Pitch.

To celebrate the fifth anniversary of our label, we present Various Aliens / Fifth Contact, a unique compilation that brings together collaborations between the founder and 15 artists from different corners of the world.

The name plays with the idea of “VA” (Various Artists), transformed into “Various Aliens” as a metaphor for that creative diversity that seems to come from other dimensions.

Fifth Contact refers both to the number 5 of our anniversary and, at the same time, evokes the notion of an extraterrestrial encounter beyond imagination: a connection that transcends borders, styles, and languages—a cosmic meeting through music.
