In recent years, Mezer has swept through the electro scene with his old skool style, releasing on some top tier independent labels such as Angels Gub Club, Gimme A Break Records and Kultura Collective. More recently, he’s blessed us with a true Detroit-style EP over on Crazed Behaviour. 

Here he gets our new series underway with a real dance floor filler, entitled “Hotel Motel”. Breakbeat-lined ghetto-infused electro that will no doubt get you moving.

After a short hiatus at the beginning of 2024, Out Of Sorts couldn’t be more excited to return to the digital series with four  club-ready tracks of rugged, grinding grooves courtesy of Newcastle-based Lace Atone.

‘Zonal Decline’, a dark and layered track which combines razor sharp percussion, a rumbling bassline and a familiar vocal chop to create a dense, atmospheric club track. When asked about the opening track Lace Atone told us, “The droned out, percussive synth draws a subtle influence from the Robert Hood, Jeff Mills era of 90s techno, think those dark, ever-repeating chords.”
