This is a song about spinning into love, feeling the magic in a misty summer night and horses. It's a collaboration with engineer Garth West, producer/mixing engineer Phillip Parker and my dear friends in the band Fruition who stayed up all night to record this song with me one late night in July 2013. This song got cut from the Elephant Revival album "It's Alive" but it is dear to my heart and a lovely representation of the light hearted, bluegrass side of the band. I wrote it at the Crooked Crow songwriting camp with my dear friend Bryan Hembree. May it remind you that Spring will arrive...and new things will be born!

Novel Of New

I wrote this song as a message to my younger sister when she was a teenager. It's a soothing song, intended to comfort and believe in the great mysteries of the life. 

This song was recorded with Mark Venezia at Wind Over The Earth in Longmont, it is part of a compilation called "The Longmont Project" featuring the resident musicians of Longmont. Donations are being collected for the Longmont High School Music Program at: LHS-music.org
