ockkie (real name: Jock) is an producer, dj & digital artist coming from Rotterdam, the Netherlands.

Jockkie is always optimistic, down to earth and out of the box thinking. He can be wild and stormy, but also peaceful and calm in the eye of the storm, like his personality, productions and style.

Born in 1986, Jockkie has grown up with Suriname root music, Jazz, RnB and other electronic music. He has closely being involved in the growing music culture by working at some clubs in Rotterdam and did some b2b’s gigs in his youth.

Jockkie found his love for music back in the melodic techno and started a weekly mixtape, called Chimére radioshow, on his SoundCloud & Inprogressradio. His mission with the radioshow is to close the gap between upcoming talents and well known artists in the melodic techno scene.

Since then his name is growing and being respected, because he is trying to take everyone in his journey. Next to being part of the DHA community, he is also working on his concept:

Born in the South of Italy at the end of the 70s, DJ Morph began to listen good music when was a child. Kraftwerk, To Rococo rot, Depeche Mode, A-ha, Mike Oldfield and Franco Battiato, artists not so easy for a little child.
In the last 15 years, Morph has released many productions under various aliases, single EPs and albums, also with some collectives like the South Conspiracy.
His productions were wandering in the electronic music atmospheres, between minimal, techno and tech house music. He’s been also a remixer for many artists like the italians Sud Sound System and more guys all around the world.
In his career, DJ Morph has played in many gigs in Europe (specially in Italy) but also in Japan for a tour in the first decade of the 2000s.
Moreover, he collaborated with some Radio Stations and digital projects like, for example, Samurai FM in Japan, where he was the art director of his own program for the japanese radio, where he hosted many guys from all the world.
After some healthy problems in the last 5 years, in 2022 Morph is back to make music and to his DJ career, with great enthusiasm.
His music today is a mix of Deep House, Melodic and Afro sounds and he’s working to the first album and first singles under the name “DJ Morph”.

For this month we have a guest that I am following for 4 years and it's an honor to have them: FLOORMAGNET. 

Biography 
The Floormagnet collective story began in the late 80’s in Sweden. Sparked by a fascination for electronic music, influenced by the early pioneers. Floormagnet consists of six producers/DJs based in Stockholm and London. 

They've been on fire since their debut release in 2021 with the support from 6AM, Like That Underground, The Rave Exchange and Global Techno followed by a series of singles, EP’s and collaborations with Weska, Zoo Brazil, Tiger Stripes, Rebecca & Fiona and Subjaax. 

Signed by Selador with “Laura” and the original is joined by two sorcerous remixes with the legends Circulation and Zoo Brazil. 

Their love for various genres of electronic music is mirrored in their DJ sets and productions, delivering authenticity to music lovers across the globe. 

This experienced collective has been travelling the world and holds together in their resume; resident at Pacha (London), playing for Pure, Eivissa, Café Mambo, Thump, Drumcode Records Halloween party (Tobacco Dock), Ministry Of Sound & Pulse/Bankside Vaults, residents at Avalanche Ibiza’s parties and playing at various clubs all over the US, Europe, Asia and worked with worldwide brands such as SuperMartXé and Matinée. 

Their imprint FM Recordings has been making a lot of noise in 2022-2023 on Beatport cracking the charts such as Techno (Peak time/driving) Top 100, Melodic House & Techno Hype Top 100, Best New Hype Melodic House & Techno, Best Indie Dance and Beatport and Secret Weapons. 

Continuing to pick up major global spins with support from big names such as Tini Gessler, Anthony Pappa, Pan-Pot, Hernán Cattáneo, Dosem, Hito, Sasha, Sister Bliss, K-Klass, Roger Sanchez, Eelke Kleijn, Karotte, Joris Voorn, Bart Skills, Adam Beyer and Lupe Fuentes just to name a few. It’s clear that Floormagnet has been making a global splash in the electronic music scene with its headstrong peak-time creations and are climbing that ladder-like lightning.

Com o equipamento em mãos, Tarter sentiu a necessidade de reformular seu hybrid live e passou a explorar todas as possibilidades criativas oferecidas com o novo setup, tornando-se uma grande referência da cena Techno brasileira. Os esforços resultaram numa identidade sonora bem lapidada e o fizeram entrar para o time de residentes do D-EDGE e da agência D.AGENCY no ano de 2016, somando aclamadas apresentações em grandes clubes como Warung Beach Club, Club Vibe e no Tribaltech Festival. Como produtor, lançou pela Patent Skillz, MiniHard, Prisma Techno e desde 2017 está à frente da UrbanSoul, sua gravadora que já lançou nomes de peso. In 2015, he received massive support from his track Hits and Misses, which happened again many times on other occasions.Today, with almost 10 years of career, he can also be proud of another feat: as a technology enthusiast, he was largely responsible for bringing the first PLAYdifferently’s MODEL 1 to Brazil. With the equipment in hand, tarter felt the need to reformulate his hybrid live and started to explore all the creative possibilities offered with the new setup, becoming a great reference in the Brazilian Techno scene. The efforts resulted in a well-defined sound identity and made him join the D-EDGE’s DJ residents team and enter to D AGENCY’s casting in 2016, adding acclaimed performances in major clubs such as Warung Beach Club, Club Vibe and Tribaltech Festival. As music producer, he released on Patent Skillz, MiniHard, PrismaTechno and since 2017 he is ahead of Urban Soul, his label that has already released big names.With the purpose of always going further and doing more for the scene, he currently leads an online mentoring project that assists in the artistic development of many Brazilian DJs and producers.
