Brie Cecil is a singer/songwriter from Massachusetts.  Getting a “late start” began playing and singing her senior year of high school (2002).  Brie spent the better part of the last ten years playing, writing, singing, and surviving in NYC.  Her first release Now I Know Acoustic EP(2010)  an 8 track EP told the story of her love, and a whole lot of heartache.  Described by many as singing with soul, and passion.  You get every part of her in a single word, or note.  Brie spent the last two years traveling and writing her latest album Handmade due out early 2013. The first single available now “Don’t You Know” takes a more mature  approach to the heartache process, a process which Brie delves deep into on Handmade.  She describes the album as “a path to look back on, this heart of mine is torn and tattered but that’s the way its supposed to look.  It all happened, each step on this path has made me who I am.”  A new twist on old soul, Brie’s smooth voice, and catchy lyrics will take you not only on her journey but yours as well.
