He needs no introduction, In the past 2 years his sound has shaped a new generation of producers emerging from the Israel music scene.
The EP includes 2 original tracks and one unique remix made by him.

The Glitz are ready to start their journey towards the big “AXEN” album release in April, and they are starting it with a proper statement track. The first single “Dicktator” is a shot fired against the ambiguity of wealth, power and morality that seems to run through our societies. Western countries getting rich through selling weapons to war torn areas, then working against helping refugees who seek shelter. Politicians lying through their teeth in their hunt for more power. And it is just accepted. The irony of it all is poetically worded by the beautiful and fierce vocals of Fanny Winter, while Andreas and Daniel have created a monster of a song. A frenzy of groove, percussions and synths blend in the style of rough electronica. Like something you have never heard before, the track pushes forward, powerful and full of attitude. 

While the original is a masterpiece, the guys have also put their heads together to give us a version suited for the clubs. “Dicktator (Club Mix)” is as groovy as they come. Think beach house inspired but with a heavy hitting bassline, quirked synth elements and of course, the occasional vocal elements from the original. A bass heavy groove ride with smooth percussions perfectly suited for both those dark nights in the club as well as dusty afternoons on a festival dance floor. We are excited to see where this journey towards the new The Glitz album will take us. One thing is certain though, the first release hits the ground running and we know we are in for a treat!

atish & Nhii head to Damian Lazarus’ Rebellion in a first-time collaboration with ‘Shola’, showcasing two innovative productions
Marking a debut outing on the Crosstown Rebels sub-label, the pair unveil their two-track EP promising an exploration of their musical mastery, set for release on 12th April 2024.

New York-based atish is an artist known for communicating the highs and lows of life through his diverse soundscapes, spanning deep house, Romanian minimal, artful techno, and emotive progressive house on esteemed labels such as Anjunadeep, Stil Vor Talent, and Manjumasi, which he co-founded with Mark Slee. Here he joins forces with fellow New Yorker Nhii, recognised for his bottomless journey of musical growth with no boundaries, exploring deep sounds and electronic elements on labels like Sol Selectas and One Tribe Records. Together they combine their creative visions for the first time with a compelling two-track collaboration on Damian Lazarus’ Crosstown Rebels sub-label, Rebellion, offering a rich sonic tapestry of beats with ‘Shola’.

“I wear my inspirations and playfulness brightly on my sleeve with the Shola EP. Nhii and I created 'Shola,' referencing my South Asian roots with an obscure 1983 Hindi/Urdu sample, while the solo tune '2007' has synth textures nodding to one of my most formative years as a dance music enthusiast, the year I moved to San Francisco" - atish

The title track, ‘Shola,’ evolves through layers of off-kilter electronics and rattling, crisp percussion enriched by enchanting female vocals that infuse the overall arrangement with a sense of intrigue and excitement. To close, atish weaves warping sonics and mind-bending elements in ‘2007’, guiding listeners through a mesmerising exploration of propulsive synth patterns that intensify throughout.
