At what point in time did we lose our capacity for rational argument and a willingness to listen to other points of view, even when we don't agree? Media wars, free speech wars... We're becoming more tribal than ever, when we should be banding together more than ever. Strange days indeed.

As I was writing this track, I kept thinking, "this is the kind of song I'd love for someone like #SamSmith to sing". And then Cail did such a smooth number on it, I can't imagine him not singing it. Anyway, it's about letting go of the past and learning to love the skin we're in.

This kinda music is my jam: Groove-laden beats with syncopated bass lines, lush synths and quirky vocals.

Malicious

Brigham Hollywood, the alter ego creation of songwriter/producer Brad Fuller, writes infectious and uptempo electronic music. Drawing upon R&B influences like The Weeknd, along with a penchant for 80s synth-pop icons such as Howard Jones, The Human League and Scritti Politti, he has crafted a collection of dance-pop songs that are fresh and contemporary in sound, whilst simultaneously projecting an unapologetic retro vibe. Although many artists might prefer to avoid direct comparisons for the sake of promoting themselves as 'original', he would certainly be in good company with the likes of Daft Punk or Disclosure. On weekends, he also dabbles in instrumental beats with ethnic world influences.
