Early 2012 Boddhi was touring in Angola and connected via friend and fellow music producer Djeff Afrozila with Kuduro sensation Game Walla. Recorded at Kazukuta Studios in Luanda (Angola), Apaga O Fogo (Stop the Fire) is an ode to social awakening. It is inspired by the actual state of the African Continent. A fast rising economy leaving behind the "weakest" in it's necessary quest for recognition in the Globalized World we live in.
Produced by Boddhi Satva, the release features remixes by South Africa's most in demand producers/remixers UHURU appearing courtesy of Kalawa Music and a Ancestral Dub by Offering's Head Honcho himself. 

This release signals a new journey for the Label and a will surely have a place of choices in your playlists.

Born in the townships of Durban, Gqom (a Zulu word meaning "Hit" or "Drum") is a subgenre of house recognizable by the reductionist techniques, dark strings, syncopated breakbeats and repeating vocal samples. Dj duo Thobani "Que" Mgobhozi and Zipho "Gold" Mthembu better known by their stage name, Distruction Boyz- have been two of the genre's boldest pioneers (remember Babes Wodumo's "Wololo"?), but through Gqom is the future they evolve it even further. Coined Sgubhu by KwaZulu-Natal's beatmaker's, Distruction Boyz take showcases a softer, more melodic side to gqom.
