Lindsay Singer and Ashley McCall are both third grade teachers at Cesar Chavez Multicultural Academic Center in Chicago. Lindsay teaches mathematics and inquiry. And Ashley is an English language arts bilingual teacher. We sat down to chat about cultural and social-emotional responsive teaching and how race plays into their co-teaching relationship.
