"Buddhism meets the Climate Crisis". 

Joe Mishan talks about how we, as Buddhists, might respond to the climate crisis. This talk was given as part of Buddhist Action Month at Brighton Buddhist Centre, in June 2021.

Joe is a meditation practitioner and mindfulness teacher in the Vipassana tradition. He recently retired as an NHS psychotherapist and now works in private practice. He is a co-founder of Dharma Action Network for Climate Engagement (DANCE) London and more recently, Extinction Rebellion Buddhists UK.

Buddhism Meets The Climate Crisis - Talk By Joe Mishan, Friends Night, 23 June 2021

Dharmachari Satyadasa from the London Buddhist Centre has recently published a fascinating, poignant and sometime painful but humorous memoir of his life from early childhood with many a twist and turn, finally leading to his ordination into the Triratna Buddhist Order. In June 2022, he came to Brighton Buddhist Centre to talk about 'The Sound of One Hand' with Paul Bonett, a mitra at the centre.
