Rise Up

This chant is based on one in Shekhinah's book Ariadne's Thread, but is modified to a folk rhythm instead of how I think it was originally sung. This version was sung by a small group of five of us in a ritual in a large cave.

This song is by Wyndreth Berginsdottir (https://wyndrethsavagedaughtershieldmaid.bandcamp.com/). We decided to sing it at our Red Tent where, though it is actually a SCA ballad, it is a perfect expression of the power of women gathering together in sacred circle as well.
