Milos, also known as DJ Kalje Vest @kaljevest, began his DJ journey three years ago in Belgrade, inspired by the city's vibrant electronic music scene. Since refining his skills at the Perfect Pitch DJ Academy under mentors Lea Dobricic and Joma Maja, Kalje Vest has been known for blending progressive house, organic house, afro house, indie dance, and melodic house & techno. His sets are characterized by diverse
elements, ranging from dark disco vibes to oriental notes and captivating vocals, creating an immersive
and unique experience for his audience.
He has performed multiple times at prestigious European festivals including Exit, Love fest, No Sleep,
LMF Festival, and LAS Festival, as well as at popular clubs across Serbia and Croatia such as Kult, Silosi
Belgrade, DOT, Half, KPTM, PUBeraj, Aquarius Club Zagreb, Ignite, and Svaštara concept bar. Kalje Vest's
talent has earned him recognition, including being one of the winners of the international DJ
competitions at LAS Festival in Poland and LMF Festival in Croatia, and sharing stages with artists like
Gorgon City, Rebuke and Fisher. Apart from music, Milos holds a degree in organizational sciences and
has extensive experience in the fields of human resources and information technology.

While riding mopeds through busy Bali intersections, one half of this duo was intrigued by an Indonesian word that appeared on almost every street corner – “Warung.” Meaning “small family-run business,” it quickly became apparent how intrinsic these Warungs were to the culture: self made, the lifeline of the family, and an ever-lasting legacy to carry forth.

The concept of Warung couldn’t have been a better inspiration for their sound and project. These two decided to forego their solo projects and together cultivate something rich, from the ground up, to start an organic music identity. The development continues, and with each groove constructed, they push forward into a new space, learning to blend old with new. Two years later, Warung knows their way around the studio and is ready to bring more dance-floor-ready houses to a thriving scene by blending old with new.
