RYTHME ET VITESSE

There is a small town in Limburg called Venray. In this town a family lives all together in their house. They enjoy being inside their house all together, they never go outside . They have everything in there. Each other, snacks, drinks and cigarettes. It is also always extremely warm inside the house. Spring, summer, winter, it doesn’t matter it is always extremely warm and sweaty. And it is the way it is.

 Every Christmas the family sits there all together and give a little present to the young boy. They always offer him a snow globe from a new place outside of Venray. And the boy wonders… How would the world feel when everything is so cold outside? He is fascinated by it. The only thing he knows is this extremely hot and sweaty atmosphere. 

One evening the boy starts shaking a snow globe, wishing to feel this snow and suddenly… everything starts to shake. The whole house starts to shake, shake and all the snow globes start to shake so hard that the snow pops out of them spreading around and there is snow and there is snow even more snow untill everything is white and cold…A breeze through the livingroom and the snow falls down. Quietly. Everything settles again the way it's always been. Because in the end it is the way it is.
